Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! We do not carry a wait list. We look forward to hearing from you!

Do you accept insurance?

Coverage should not be determined by a third party. To ensure that your child receives highly individualized care, SpeakEasy is an out-of-network provider. Intervention plans are customized specifically for each child and family.

The necessary documentation will be provided to families who wish to request reimbursement from a private insurance carrier.

What are the benefits of paying out-of-pocket?

No referral from primary care physician required

No maximum number of sessions per calendar year

No limit to billable service types or locations

No surprise fees

Do you offer virtual treatment sessions?

SpeakEasy does not offer TeleTherapy. We believe the most ethical, effective pediatric treatment takes place in-person, and the efficacy of face-to-face therapy cannot be replicated.

What is the difference between a SLP and CLC?

Speech-Language Pathologist
Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats swallowing and feeding disorders; supports sucking, chewing, and swallowing required for eating or drinking
